Strong QUAKE hits parts of Pakistan

LAHORE (web desk) – A strong earthquake rattled various cities of the country including Lahore and Islamabad on Wednesday.

The quake occurred at 12:10pm Pakistan time and, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, measured 6.2 on the Richter scale.

The earthquake originated around 169 kilemetre below the earth’s surface, with the epicentre located in mountains of Hindu Kush in the Badakshan province of Afghanistan.
