Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ inspired from Hollywood film ‘Little Boy’
MUMBAI (web desk) – The teaser of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Tubelight’ is out and has taken the audience in awe and tears.
The two-minute teaser has left the people wanting for more as Salman’s ‘special’ character has magnified their emotions. But only a few may know that the Bollywood flick is inspired from Hollywood film ‘Little Boy’.
As the credits of the movie suggest, Tubelight’s story is based on the original film ‘Little Boy’ which is a 2015 World War II war fantasy-drama film.
Salman Khan’s character was played by a little boy Jakob Salvati who is very close to his father and is left distraught when he goes away for war.
However; in ‘Tubelight’ the character of father has been replaced with that of a brother being played by Sohail Khan. Besides this, the role of the protagonist friend has also been changed — from a Japanese man to a child actor.
Shah Rukh Khan is appearing in a cameo role of a magician, originally played by Ben Chaplin, who convinces Salman that the power to bring his brother back is faith in his own self and his actions.
Tubelight also stars Chinese actress ZhuZhu and is scheduled to release on Eid this year.
This is Salman’s third film with Kabir Khan after ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Let’s wait and watch whether this Bollywood film will be a hit unlike its original version which failed to gather much success at box office.
