Record of Karachi University students to be handed over to intelligences agencies

KARACHI (web desk) – The record of the students enrolled in University of Karachi has been decided to hand over to the intelligence agencies over their alleged involvement in extremism.

According to details, the university’s Vice Chancellor has also summoned session of academic council in this regard whereas a suggestion to make police character certificate compulsory for every student has also been given.

On the other hand, security officers have recovered more than 12 laptops and 20 USBs from the house of Abdul Kareem, who fled during raid in Gulzar-e-Hijri.

The officers said that the process of data decoding is underway while forensic of the record will also be carried out.

Earlier, cousin to Daesh chief Mullah Fazlullah along with three of his accomplices killed on Monday in a crossfire with police in Quetta Town area.

Malir Senior Superintendent of Police Rao Anwar asserted that operatives of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have joined Daesh and that three brothers of Khurshid have been killed earlier in different operations.

Khurshid was involved in attacks on Malala Yousafzai, army troops stationed in Swat and police in Quaidabad.
