(Web Desk) – Bollywood director Kabir Khan is all set to make a movie on Indian win in 1983 World Cup and he has signed Ranveer Singh to play the role of then Indian captain Kapil Dev.
Indian media reported that Ranveer Singh is already preparing to fit in the role. He was seen recently at a football ground in Bandra. The Indian actor attended an exercise session and was carrying a sporty look. Ranveer was wearing a black tracksuit and white cap.

His co-star Dino Morea was also at the football stadium. In past, several Bollywood sports documentaries have been made. Priyanka Chopra in Mary Kom and Sushant Singh Rajput in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story had impressed the fans and received praise.
Before Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor was rumoured to be signed for the role but it didn’t happen so. Both the actors have the ability to depict Dev’s character. Director Kabir Khan finalised Ranveer for the role and now his fans are excited to see him in the new avatar.
Ranveer Singh is currently promoting her upcoming movie Padmavati with co-stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. He will be seen posing as Alauddin Khilji in the Rani Padmini biopic.
