ISLAMABAD (web desk) – PML-N leaders reacted to Imran Khan’s statement after his bail was approved in four terrorism cases in which he claimed that he is sadiq (truthful) and ameen (righteous), and not a terrorist.
My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist. Moreover, the SC has pronounced me Sadiq and Ameen and I am coming after them crooks!
— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) January 2, 2018
State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry said Imran Khan’s bail does not matter at all as PML-N will seize it in 2018 elections. He maintained that people of Pakistan will decide who is sadiq and ameen.
The state minister further added that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif does not need any certificate of being truthful and righteous. Imran Khan’s politics revolves around umpire’s finger and fortune tellers, he commented.
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan forgot to use the word ‘fake’ in his tweet. She said PTI chief could not become the prime minister of this country, and is now unsuccessfully trying to become Shahrukh Khan.
Marriyum Aurangzeb stated that Imran Khan could not be a successful politician, and he should answer about the attacks on institutions.
It is worth mentioning here that an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday (yesterday) approved Khan’s bail application in four cases pertaining to torture on SSP and attack on Parliament and PTV Headquarters that were filed against him after PTI’s 2014 sit-in in the federal capital.
Imran had said while talking to media afterwards that the court has proven he is sadiq and ameen.
