Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl-inspired con artist dupes 15 women of INR 5m

(Web Desk) – Indian con artist, inspired by Ranveer Singh’s Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl was held this week after he duped at least 15 women of around INR 5 million since 2011.

Police detained 34-year-old Yogesh alias Sameer Garg at Delhi railways station who confessed to having conned women he met on matrimonial websites, mostly in their 30s, by luring them with claims of tying the nuptial knot soon.

He admitted to having posed himself as a country head of one of the top conglomerates and recording videos of the women in their vulnerable moments.

Garg further confessed to have duped at least 15 women and pocketed around INR 5 million since 2011.

One of the victims is identified to be hailing from Noida and one from Ahmadabad among others. However, these victims are two of the five who have approached police until filing of this report.

Garg admitted to having pocketed INR 3 million from the most recent affectee who is a divorcee teacher and has a two-year-old son.

The man used to pull a London-return MBA and son of a retired airforce officer to lure women who had registered themselves with matrimonial websites.

Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl is a 2011 Hindi film industry flick starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. The film revolves around Ricky Bahl , a smooth-talker who dupes three women only to be taught a lesson by his victims.
