ECP decides to scrutinize PTI’s accounts

(Web desk) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday has decided to scrutinize accounts of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) itself and said that no details will be shared with anyone until the High Court’s order.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) conducted hearing of the case during which plaintiff Akbar S. Babar said that he prepared the documents of PTI party funding himself, therefore, the authorities should cross check them with those submitted in the Supreme Court (SC).

PTI lawyer remarked that ECP can review the details but it should hide it from everyone including claimant.

Subsequently, ECP has adjourned the hearing till November 21.
